Janajagaran Party Nepal and Nepal Communist Party Unified: Historic Address by Central Chairman Dr. BP Khanal
Kathmandu — In a landmark public event marking the unification between Janajagaran Party Nepal and the Nepal Communist Party, Central Chairman Dr. BP Khanal delivered an emotional and politically significant statement, declaring the formation of a “new political pole” in the country.

Addressing the gathering attended by party leaders, distinguished guests, and various prominent personalities, the Chairman remarked that the nation is still circling around the same issues in its pursuit of justice, equality, freedom, and prosperity. He emphasized that the young generation—who have always stood at the forefront of change—has not yet experienced the transformation they deserve.

According to Chairman Khanal, although repeated movements in the country have increased the number of martyrs, the “dreams of the martyrs being repeatedly exchanged for corrupt characters” remains the nation’s gravest tragedy. Referring to the recent Gen-Z movement, he noted that although it shook the structure of misgovernance to some extent, the “decisive transformation that uproots the system” has yet to occur.

“Injustice, oppression, discrimination, and corruption continue to thrive without interruption,” he said. “Now, an honest, strong, and visionary political commitment has become absolutely essential.”

He recalled the party’s decade-long struggle as an independent force, but stated that time has taught the lesson that genuine change now requires a broad and powerful unified political strength.

In his address, Chairman Khanal explained that although efforts had been underway to unite various new, alternative, and smaller parties under one front, the current circumstance made it clear that merging with the mainstream flow of the Nepal Communist Party was the most appropriate decision. He also called upon other scattered alternative political forces to join this unified stream.

Criticizing the long-standing culture where “fiery speeches alone make leaders,” he stressed that the nation now needs not just ideology but leadership that is dutiful, hardworking, and innovative.

Colleagues of the Janajagaran Party, through the statement, expressed their commitment to remain continuously dedicated to the interests of the oppressed, victimized, and marginalized communities in this new journey.

“A beautiful, peaceful, and prosperous Nepal is our common goal,” Chairman Khanal declared. “The warm support and guidance of the people will make this new unified political journey unstoppable.”

At the conclusion of the program, Chairman Dr. BP Khanal extended his gratitude to all attendees and expressed his hope for continued support in the newly united political mission.
